Last weekend was our annual visit to the Kentucky State Fair. Though the car travel was long, the event was well worth it!
Levy, Linc and boy cousin Clark saw a few animals, had a few treats and cheered for Byron's red ribbon prize for his picture.
The Kentucky Historical Society had a big exhibit for the bicentennial of A. Lincoln's birth (in 2009) so that was a major attraction, too. We all came home with their "I, too, am a Kentuckian" shirts. Even dad.
Brunch with Todd at Lynn's capped off a great trip.
It was good to be back in Louisville, but once we made it back to "Sweet Home Chicago," Lev was so happy she hugged the post on the deck.

It was so fun!!!! The best fair yet :)
