Levy the Lovely served as line leader in her class today, she triumphantly told Mom and Dad tonight. Funny, we can ask and ask her things about school and get very little out of her. But later on, details and stories just flow from her.
Also, Mom and Dad responded to a paper sent home this afternoon looking for a volunteer to be Room Parent. This duty mostly entails making calls to other parents, sending out reminders, etc. There's not much in-class involvement, and between Mom having no leave at work and Dad juggling Linc, we decided this would be a good way to get involved with the school. We pitched it to them as getting two for one!
Also, we wanted to start off nicely before we start making trouble about the school serving Oreos as a snack at 10 a.m.
